Registration for "I Can Swim" Program

Prince Albert Sharks Swim Club is welcoming registration for the Sears I Can Swim Program. There are several sessions throughout the year.

Each Session is 5 weeks in length and the cost is $75.00 for the first session and $55.00 for each session thereafter. Contact Head Coach Rick Whitson for more information at 970-7277.

North American Indigenous Games

August, 2008

Three Sharks joined team Saskatchewan at the August 2008 North American Indigenous Games hosted by the Cowichan Tribes of British Columbia.

Shay-Anne Daniels medaled in all her individual events, garnering two gold, two silver, and two bronze medals. She also took home two gold and one silver medal in team relay events. Scott Mills won two gold medals, one silver medal and two bronze medals in individual events. He also came away with two gold medals in team relay events. Colleen Daniels captured silver medals in all three of her breastroke events, as well as receiving three bronze medals for her participation in team relay events.

In all, Team Saskatchewan swimmers brought home 50 individual medals from the competition. For more information, visit the NAIG results site or the Swim Sask News Page.

Sharks Attend Age Group Nationals

July, 2008

Dylan McLeod, Scott Mills, and Mitchel Robin attended Age Group Nationals at the end of July. Congratulations to Mitchel Robin, who won a bronze medal in the 800 Free.
