How does Shop and Support help the Sharks?

Up to 15% of each Shop and Support dollar you spend is automatically contributed to the Sharks on behalf of your swimmer.

How does Shop and Support help my family?

Your Shop and Support dollars benefit the club, but also benefit the swimmer who has earned the money - the profits are shared between the club and the swimmer.

How does it work?

Each week you order gift cards through the Shop and Support web site. You can get gift cards from a kazillion merchants to buy gas, electronics, clothing, home furnishings and more. (Sorry, experienced Shop and Savers, but Safeway has dropped off the list!) The gift cards are sent to the club via Sue Harradence. You pick them up at the pool the following week and do your shopping.

How do I participate?

  1. Set up an online bill payment with your bank
    1. If you don't already bank online, contact your financial institution and get yourself set up for online bill payments.
    2. Add a bill payment "new payee" for shop and support.
      1. Look in the Saskatchewan list and find "PREFERRED ONE". Add the payee.
      2. If you can't find "PREFERRED ONE" in your bank's list of payees, phone your bank's 1-800 number for help.
      3. Add "PREFERRED ONE" as a payee.
  2. Register with Shop and Support
    1. Go to http://www.shopandsupport.ca and click on the "click here to begin supporting today" icon.
    2. Register all pertinent information in Step one and two.
    3. At step three select "my group has invited me to support them..."
    4. Enter the Club ID Number: 6272390100563645
    5. Verify "Pa Sharks Swim Club"
    6. Check Parent/guardian
    7. Enter your child/childrens info (For multiples just put all there first names in that top line)
    8. Verify shipping instructions, select "ship free to group" (the address it will verify is 317 20th St. W)
    9. Go to the shopping list and request the appropriate amount of certificates that you wish and it will display it for you.
    10. Follow remaining steps.
  3. Buy Cards
    1. Go to http://www.shopandsupport.ca and order your cards.
    2. Remember to specify "mail to group" or "group order", otherwise you will receive your gift cards, but YOU will have to pay the 12.95 registered mail charge.
    3. Once you have ordered your gift cards you will need to login to your bank and make a bill payment to "Preferred One" for the cards you have ordered. This is very important as they will not ship cards until payment has been made and verified.
    4. Details on the buying time periods, drop-off schedules, and pick up times will be announced shortly. Please check back for more information.
  4. Shop
    1. Go ahead and spend those gift cards at the merchants you have selected.
    2. Check the Shop and Support Website for delivery dates.

What if I have problems?

If you get stuck, there is a toll free number on the website ( 1.866.387.8073). Phone it and they will walk you through the process.
